Ingredients:

  • 1 pint fresh strawberries
  • 4 cups of water
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice or lemon juice concentrate
  • ½ to ¾ cup confectioners or sweeteners of choice.
  • Two pinches of salt

Instructions:

  1. Add strawberries to a sauce pan and add ¼ cup of water. Cook over medium heat until the strawberries are freed from their juices. Remove it and keep it to cool.
  2. Remove all the juices from the strawberry until all that's left of it is juiceless pulp. You may use cheesecloth, strainers or meshed sieve. Discard the pulp once this is done.
  3. Now prepare a lemonade by using a juicer or a citrus squeezer. You should have at least 1 cup of freshly prepared lemon juice. Get rid of the lemon seeds, pulp by pouring the juice into a strainer.
  4. Now add water, sweetener and a pinch of salt into the lemon juice and stir it until all the ingredients are combined.
  5. Now add the strawberry juice into this mixture. Stir it well.
  6. Pour into glass over ice. Enjoy!
